Violin/Viola
Ying-Chen Tu is a professional musician who held a tenured position in Evergreen Symphony Orchestra in Taipei, Taiwan, and she has performed in major concert halls in Boston, Taiwan, Macao, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Vietnam, Japan and Australia.
Ms. Tu received her Master of Music degree in viola performance at Boston University with full scholarship and served as a teaching assistant. Later on, she came to LA for her Graduate Certificate in University of Southern California(USC) with full scholarship to study with renowned violist Che-Yen Chen.
Throughout the music journey, she especially loves to share her music knowledge with students. Ms. Tu has been teaching both violin and viola for more than 15 years. She enjoys working on small details, and seeing students smile when they make progress. She is good at communicating and she is easy going and flexible. She can always bring new ideas to her lessons.
