Flute Faculty
Flutist Jinhee Cera Barragato, a native of South Korea, has received many awards and has been invited to perform in several different countries. Trained as a classical flutist (University of North Texas, Artist Certificate; Seoul National University, M.M.; Keimyung University, B.A.), she is a soloist with extensive orchestra experience. Jinhee also specialized in Contemporary Improvisation and World Music at New England Conservatory (M.M.). Jinhee now focuses on community performance, composing, and arranging music, and empowering young musicians to find themselves in music. She has conducted a children’s orchestra along with several flute ensembles. Jinhee also recently recorded and produced several albums containing her original work.
